Post Body

So recently at the place I work our managers are having us pay 50 cents for a bottle, 16 ounces, of water that is intended for us employees to drink. Now I work at a food delivery place so I'd under stand if it was bottled water that customers also buy, but it's not. They buy bulk bottles of water from Costco strictly for us to drink. And given that most of us work 6 hours a day, are outside in 100 degree temperatures, and no other place to get water on site other than handwashing sinks. You can understand, though it's only 50 cents, why I am a little annoyed at the mere thought that it would cost ANY amount of money for water.

Does this violate any OSHA regulations? Is there anything I as a employee can do? Should I tell the managers that in doing so may be illegal? What is my best course of action? Any help is great here. I will try my best to answer any questions you may have. Thank You.
