Maintenance refused to take care of the mold in the vents telling me it was “dirt”
Post Body

So about 6 months ago or so I noticed mold coming out of my vents, to which I had the maintenance guy come and check it out.

He played it off like it was just dirt, switched the vent cover and left. The mold has gotten worse and I think I’m getting sick because of it.

Should I hire my own inspector to come out and also see a doctor regarding my lung condition? If both of those come back with positive results. Is there anything I can do?

I live in a complex, so if my vents are bad I’m sure that there are others in the vicinity that are covered as well.
