Post Body

My older brother claims my moms house on his taxes but pays nothing towards the mortgage, upkeep, any utilities of the home. It was a mistake to ever have his name on the deed but here we are…is there any way we can stop him from forcing the sale on my mother who is 76 and very fragile? She was served a summons from the court through brothers’ attorney a few days ago and we don’t know what to do. The letter claims that my older brother has not received any money from the collection of rent and that he is owed that and half of the property value. He truly has not contributed anything to my mothers house except replace my fathers name off the deed when he passed. Any advice is truly appreciated!!
