Hey guys,
I recently started working for a new build residential construction company. I signed my papers to start in April, including a compensation addendum that’s says April. I was told I would be on commission for my designated site starting 05/01 but did not get anything specifying this. I was in training at a different site until 05/10. I was paid for commission from 05/02 and someone from my shared site complained, my manager backpedaled and said my commission would be starting 05/11 and they would take away the commission from my next check ($2000 tomorrow) to make up for their mistake. The only thing I have signed or been showed says my commission starts in April. My manager also fucked me out of a vacation day. Just curious if I have any recourse here or if I’m just going to have to take it on the chin. Thanks.
Edit: I am in Oregon btw
