Injured at a Restaurant - How to handle
Post Body

So a few weeks ago while going out to eat I fell down stairs at a restaurant walking to my table. I rolled my ankle and landed on it with full weight. At first I thought I only sprained it but I just had an MRI and turns out I have a fracture, a bruised bone, fluid, swelling and bruising, and found a fusion somewhere too.

My parents (and husband) want me to reach out to the restaurant. What do I even say/do? My parents want me to see if theyโ€™ll help cover some of my medical bills bc they have insurance for these kind of things.

Any advice on how to handle this and either getting compensation or steps I need to take? What to say?
