So a few weeks ago while going out to eat I fell down stairs at a restaurant walking to my table. I rolled my ankle and landed on it with full weight. At first I thought I only sprained it but I just had an MRI and turns out I have a fracture, a bruised bone, fluid, swelling and bruising, and found a fusion somewhere too.
My parents (and husband) want me to reach out to the restaurant. What do I even say/do? My parents want me to see if theyโll help cover some of my medical bills bc they have insurance for these kind of things.
Any advice on how to handle this and either getting compensation or steps I need to take? What to say?
