Two years in a row, my mortgage company has failed to take my escrow money and pay it to my insurance company. They always pay my property taxes, but not my HO6 insurance, which, by the way was a requirement on their part for the finalization of my mortgage.
I want to know if I can take any type of legal action because twice now, not only have I had a gap in my insurance, but the insurance companies will not take me back on because of the failed payment. I have to go and find a third new insurance company because of their mistake. Also if they would’ve been some sort of accident while I didn’t have insurance I could’ve been in really big trouble. The only reason I found out both times is because I just so happened to be refinancing. I need a copy of the policy.
Do I have any options? I just want to hold his company accountable because they really are the worst. Flagstaff Bank
