Just won primary custody of my kids in Florida yesterday, so no complaints on my end.
However, I'd hate to see someone else choose the lawyer my ex had. My ex took my kids 1000 miles away and refused to let me see them without a joint stipulation in place on his advisement. That weighed heavily in the judges final decision.
When my ex forwarded the mail to her new address, he told her to keep and open mail addressed to only my name. Isn't that a felony?
He also would forward emails from her directly to my lawyer, which would then be forwarded to me. She sent some pretty incriminating things about herself and what she thought would be good evidence against me. My witness list was pretty much driven by what I already knew was coming.
I'd hate for someone that deserved a win to lose over something like that. Is any of that something that should be reported to the bar?
