So I reported the rape & sexual assault and submitted an OOP myself; was denied OOP against my rapist. Weeks go by they are rewarded an OOP along with their friend for what was basically blackmail: I was assaulted at his friend’s place of work by security, reported it to police, and was arrested for a harassment warrant I was later judged innocent of. While in jail I receive no medical attention despite the assault I went through, and I was concussed during my stay. I’m given a Temp. OOP for my ex and his friend while I’m in jail the first night, whilst concussed. Police ignore my assault report, and the next day arrest me for OOP violation after ex’s friends staff photographs me on the sidewalk across their business while I’m doing my job during an uber delivery pick up.

So I spent the next evening in booking, was released, and went to my court date and judge guilty only of the Temp. OOP violation.

I live in Tennessee & have now been criminalized in a black mail scheme that’s been projected this way to me.

The police have stalled as much as they could in my investigation report & in January wanted to claim “The Police will not help.”

Sadly I’m a victim of stalking & harassment from other sources and the police have chosen to ignore every report I’ve given them to comply with what seems to be private business buying into court proceedings.

What steps can I take to have my record erased & start suing the police for damages? Where should I look for to take legal action at the police force who have done nothing but comply with my abusive ex’s wishes to restrain and silence me rather than protecting me as an american citizen?
