My roommate just told me he wants his family member to move into the house we split, and due to that I can't live there anymore and have 30 days to leave.

When I first moved in to the place, I was in a bad spot and really needed a place to live, so I didn't even care to go through the landlord, I just give my roommate my share of the rent. Because of this I never signed any kind of agreement or lease.

I have been living here for nearly 6 months. I have records of paying every month's rent, and bills proving residency. But im just wondering because I never signed anything, does my roommate have any grounds to tell me to leave?
