My fiancé’s A5 had a water pump failure a few years ago. The engine bay caught fire and we had to replace quite a few parts to get it running again. Last year Audi did a recall on that part for the reason that it could cause catastrophic damage (the recall apparently a result of a class action lawsuit settlement), like what we had experienced. We were never informed by Audi of a recall or settlement, and now they are saying the settlement is closed and we’re out of luck on getting refunded for the repairs. Do we have any recourse?
