Iām out on bail for some very serious charges. Unfortunately this isnāt the first time and I have always used the same lawyer. Heās very expensive and is the top lawyer in my state. At my arraignment he showed up, but left before the judge arrived because he had a doctors appointment. Another lawyer had to step in and ārepresentā me at the hearing. Iāve already paid half of his fee and have my final case review coming up in 2 weeks. His office will not respond to phone calls or emails. Is he still my lawyer? If he doesnāt contact me should I show up without a lawyer? This is very unusual for this guy and I donāt know what to do.
