Question about wage reduction.

So the company I am working for is planning to roll out a 4 day work week while boosting manager pay by several dollars to compensate for the lack of overtime. My question is if this doesn’t work out can they legally reduce the hourly wage back to what it was before ? Us company based in Texas and it’s not contract work
