Post Body

Essentially I was hired by a company that is headquartered in California and u worked in California for roughly a year and a half before transferring to a new role in Florida. Last Friday I was let go from my company and I requested that per California labor laws I be given my final paycheck immediately or that the company would pay the waiting period fees. HR replied to me that since I was working in Florida they would follow Florida's policy and I have to wait until the end of the normal pay cycle, is this true? Or can i file a complaint with California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement?
