Question about unanimity requirement of jury on civil trials
Post Body

I read everything I could online but couldn't find the answer. In a state civil trial with jury, is "unanimity" required on the jury "by default"? (in US).

As far as I know, unless"both" the defendant and plaintiff specifically agree to nullify the unanimity requirement, the unanimity requirement will be applied by default but I want to know if it's actually true.
