I met someone who makes a living off suing people that use her photos uploaded to the internet without her permission. Is there a name for this kind of business?

She is a professional photographer over the age of fifty and has uploaded nearly 10,000 photographs she's taken in her lifetime to an online public album. She makes a living suing people that use her photos on their websites without her permission. They usually settle.
I was both fascinated and shocked when she told me about this (no judgment however). This was my first time hearing of this. Is there a name for this kind of business she's running?
