This is in California. I've known that this was coming for a while now since I saw a suit on the saccourt.ca.gov site months ago.
I live with my parents in the house that they own. I know that someone's come by at least 4 times to try to serve me (in the past 2 weeks) to appear in court. That person doesn't seem to know my work address.
Is this person eventually going to quit and I will just automatically just get a letter in the mail requiring a signature or is there going to be a forced court appearance even though they can't serve me in person?
