Small claims court with former employer
Hello, I moved to KC in March of this year (2023), at the time I was hired at a small construction company selling roofs door to door in the surrounding area and in the state of Missouri. I worked for them for about 2 months before I decided it wasn’t for me. Before I left I was told I would be paid out on the remaining sales I had going on as they were being installed or had been installed by that point . Now it’s almost November and I haven’t been paid at all and have decided I’ll take it to small claims court. Has anyone had experience doing this before in the area, after an employer in a small claims court. I’m just curious if there’s anything I need to be aware of or the best way to go about it. Any help would be appreciated.
