Hypothetically,
someone filed a false report against me and I was arrested causing me to be financially and or professionally damaged (costing my current professional job, and any future in my life long career profession).
Also let's say, the police lied about some of the things on the filed police report making the conditions appear worse, justifying the arrest.
Bond payed, actual out of pocket cost that will not be recouped since a bondsman was utilized.
It seems to me, that if I am acquitted or charges are not actually filed by the state attorney that I could sue the complaining parties and the police department and perhaps win a settlement from both.
Thoughts? Too much? Just take the hit and let it be and be happy to be free and move on chalking it up to paying my dues in life?
