Post Body
This evening I accompanied a friend to an urgent care clinic to be treated for an injury she sustained as the result of an assault by her fiancé. (The fiancé was arrested and booked into jail.) In the examination room she was asked what happened and answered honestly. The MA then claimed that they could not treat her absent a hard copy of the police report and told us to leave. Is that legal?
