Hi wise group,
So I'm playing in a little band, a power trio for now, and we're putting together a set of Led Zeppelin songs and immersing ourselves in learning some o their amazing music. We're all in our 60s, all professionals but doing this for love. Our singer/guitarist has been a LZ fanatic since she was a teen, but this is the first time she's really put together a group just for their music. I'm the bass player, a former classical type (cello) with some chops, rediscovering this music and living in awe of J Paul Jones. Our drummer also sings, plays guitar and keyboard, and is appropriately humble and respectful of the prospect of Being John Bonham. Yup, we're a grampa band. (A lie, none of us has grandkids.)
We're just starting out, working towards putting a few sets together over the summer and fall. Playing open mics. Practicing together as much as everyone's time permits.
As those who have played in bands before will know, the process of picking a name is difficult, and very important. So here I am, thinking that some of the great Zepp minds in this sub might have some unique ideas. I'd like something that sounds cool and has some connection to LZ. Perhaps a very obscure reference that only hardcore Zepp fans would pick up on but still sounds awesome.
Whaddaya got? Come on, Reddit! I thought of asking some AI thingy about this but I prefer real intelligence, not the fake kind.
1,000 thank-yous in advance!
