ledgers "new update" seems to just be an inneudo to governmental regulation, or kyc to private cold wallet ledger devices. like others said before, who asked for this? and on top of it, who is their market for this feature? Let alone a free feature, but a paid one? All fluff. lets be real, ledger knows their audience. theres no way this negative reaction was not calculated, considering security leak and the general consensus of crypto and cold wallet. id bet this feature is used as an "introductory" to tracking private cold wallets, before it slowly goes mandatory. Its like they are slowly trying to introduce this kyc. Eventually you wont be able to operate this "legder" without kyc.
