WS2815 144LED flickering at max brightness. 12v

I have the 4 channel SP602E controller which is powered by my car's 12v battery.
I then have the 144LED WS2815 on each section of the car. (FRONT REAR SIDE SIDE)
When I put the LED's at max brightness the rear and only one of the side's LED's start flickering like crazy. When I lower the brightness by about 25% the flickering goes away and they work perfectly.
Is this an issue with the LED's? A bad ground? bad controller?
I switched the LED's to different channels, but the same rear and side flickers again. So i don think it is the controller.
