Any specific products for an automated pattern?

I essentially wish to have LED light wrapped through a cherry blossom tree, and I wish for it to start breathing color at a specific time in the AM. I want it to change to a different pattern of breathing as well.
I've used arduinos and raspberry pis to make custom lighting effects before, but I'm terrible at circuit building, have absolutely zero skill soldering, and it's a horrible experience that takes me way too long to do.
Mobile or desktop controlled is fine as well, but need the timer
