I am trying to make a skirt with fiber optic strands glued to an LED strip. I am using a rechargeable portable battery to power it. It worked after a few strands were super glued on but when I finished with the whole strip, it flickered and then stopped working. I don't know what really happened. My fiance and I tried to solder together two LED strips but it didn't work. Pictures attached of the fiber optics connected to the strip and wiring. Really need help.
I was able to solder the strips together and they work.right now. I put heat shrink plastic and electric tape around the case to make sure it doesn't twist. I'll update with pictures later
Yeah I tried that and it didn't work :/
There isn't a way to find the wire break in the strip and somehow repair it?
So, the LED strip on the skirt itself which I can provide a picture soon, stopped working entirely. There's no salvaging it? It worked even when I superglue those fibers directly onto the LED halfway. After finishing doing that to the whole strip, it blinked then stopped working.

So right now I've super glued some shrink tube onto the LED strip to put the fiber optic bundles in
Haven't had time to work on it but will probably resume progress tomorrow. I've grouped the fiber optics and fabric glued them into a waistband to make it easier to attach to the LED strip
