Creating wireless led neon signs

I want to make some led neon signs to hang in my room. I was wondering if there is a way to get all the signs controllable by the same app. So can switch them on and off at the same time. Would it still be possible to change the colors of the individual lots then? Is it possible for them to be powered by battery packs also, as don't want to have wires running along the walls for each sign.
Does this seem possible, or am I being crazy? Any help would be much appreciated
