Does anybody have suggestions for the first few days of not smoking weed for feeling better?
Before I used to think the withdrawal phase was mostly mental, but now I feel like it’s equally split between mental and physical.
I just want to lie in bed all day when I stop smoking, which makes me feel like a slob and compounds the overall depressive feeling of not having a toke.
Of course I have no appetite but sometimes force coffee down. Will probably force something down in the evening.
I work from home which I know is worse than having to go to a workplace when quitting. Often if I’m in public when not high I’ll forget about weed for a while. But it’s really hard to forget from home, and super hard to force myself to go out when quitting. If I go out it’s to the grocery store, in and out.
Zero motivation to do some exercise. Zero motivation to do anything more than minimal work which makes the work add up later and cause more stress. Work doesn’t excite me so it’s really hard to work when quitting. I’m overall very lethargic and smoke lots of cigarettes on the first few days of taking a break.
Any general recommendations for feeling better in the beginning of quitting/ taking a break?
Thanks for reading friends, and thanks in advance for any recommendations.
