Hi everyone, today I reached 2 weeks sober! I just made a post yesterday talking about how my withdrawals have subsided quite a bit, but there is one withdrawal symptom that Iām still struggling with. It happens when I take naps but also at night. I get a lot of false awakening dreams, sometimes layered (inception style), where I will āwake upā in my dream but be physically paralyzed and unable to actually open my eyes or move. Then I will āfall back asleepā and continue dreaming about waking up and then falling back asleep and it keeps repeating itself. The dreams are so vivid and feel so real that I actually do think Iām waking up and unable to move. Itās honestly kind of distressing and when I actually do wake up I feel totally disoriented. Itās a pretty messed up symptom that can probably only be explained by months/years of chronic marijuana abuse. Has anyone had this or something similar happen to them? I know that I can get through this with time and healthy living (which hasnāt been the easiest), but sharing my experiences here and talking to others help me get through. Thanks for reading
