Everyday, multiple times a day user for 3-4 years and it’s officially been 24 hours since the last time I smoked weed!! 😁
People talking about wanting to get super stoned because of the election was very triggering and tempting. But I didn’t give in!!
I started my quitting process by tapering - only having a few hits of a joint at night. Did that for a week and after I ran out yesterday, I decided that’s it.
Even making the cut to just evenings, I experienced decreased appetite and a bit of trouble sleeping/waking up throughout the night. Today it was easier to make myself eat throughout the day, though! I’m scared about sleep, especially because I have a big test on Thursday. But honestly I’m SO tired right now from not sleeping well the past week, so I hope that makes it not too bad. We’ll see.
Cheers to the first 24 hours and this subreddit! Spending time on here has helped me to make the change.
