Differences in "volverse hacia" and "darse vuelta"
Post Body

Hey, guys. So, I'm reading a Harry Potter in Spanish and there is a part that says "se volvió hacia los que murmuraban..." and upon looking it up the definition it gave for "se volvió" was "turn towards".

I always understood turning in Spanish to be "dar(se) vuelta" and am wondering if someone can explain the difference between these two phrases if there are any at all. Or if they simply both mean the same thing?
