Anaconda 2022 won't install on Macbook Pro (Late 2011)

apologies if this is not the correct place to post this. If that is the case, please redirect me to a more appropriate forum :)

Title says it all, I'm trying to install anaconda on a macbook pro from late 2011 running High Sierra, but it gets all the way to the end and says installation failed. I've tried multiple times and am wondering if its a system requirement.

Does anyone know what might be causing it and how I can go about getting anaconda on this device? I've had anaconda on it years ago and have since deleted it, so I know its possible (last time I think it was anaconda 2019).
