Is it illegal to use an unofficial translation api?

I have been trying to find an official api to give me full analysis such as synonyms and examples but without success all translation services forbid access to their dictionaries however I have seen many unofficial api on github and I have seen one app uses all translation services and provide all data and even charge money.
