So here is the context :
I'm a 32M, I studied Finance and started working as a sales on a fixed income derivatives desk and couldn't hate what I was doing more than I did.
I threw out the window 6 years of studies, 2 masters degrees and 60k$ of debt on which I had capitalized to land this supposedly dream job only to realized It was a nightmare for me.
I liked coding as a hobby but I was nowhere near ready to have the skills required to land a job in the field. My best friend was a Dev and convinced me I could find a job there if I studied some specific topic (Front end JS & Framework at that time). I resigned and studied from home alone for 6 month. Luckily enough, I had some money aside that were supposed to be used to pay back my loan, that I used to support myself during that time.
After those 6 month, I go recruited by a Consulting firm as a Junior Dev. I was 25.
Feel free to ask me anything!
