Is it possible to mock private methods with PowerMockito?

Been toying around with junit and mocks, can't seem to find a way to mock private methods/constructors with and mock/powermockito. All the examples on the web just shows that I need a public method to call the private method to work with powermockito. Is there a way to directly access it for unit testing? Thanks.
