I intend to develop an android app in the next few months and I am a bit confused about which language I can learn. I am a software engineer with experience in C, C , python and assembly. I have visited many sites that compare Kotlin and Flutter, and most websites seem to lean towards Flutter (although it is a framework and not a language). Google has said named Kotlin as its preferred language in 2019 but it is also behind the development of Flutter, which uses the Dart language. I am confused as to which one is recommended by Google and which one I need to learn to get started with app development. I want to keep in mind the following factors: Learning Curve, Support, Flexibility, Implementation Time and Performance/Memory usage. Thank you!
