G- Code is used for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. I am a machinist by trade and I have experience with programming G-Code to make parts.
As I dive into looking at programming Iāve done the bare minimum in beginner courses. The āhello worldā beginner program and watching a very simple program run where they were looking for items in inventory. If it found the item it would give you a response and if it didnāt it would come up with No item. End of code.
While I saw this code I saw a familiarity with this code (I think it was python?) and G-Code in terms of how you are telling the computer exactly what to do.
MY QUESTION: Does anyone here know of G-Code, and am I correct in the correlation between G-Code and computer programming languages?
Sorry if Iām not making sense, I have a bad habit of talking without getting my point or question across. Just trying to get into programming and seeing if I can put my experience and principles from G-Code to help me learn a new language.
Thank you very much.
