[Java] Is +++ a real operator?

Post Body

I had a midterm for java and on the written portion one of the questions went a little like this.

X = 5;

Y = 3;

X Y;

What is X equal to now?

We haven't gotten out midterms back but the question left me confused. I looked up the Java assignment operators and it wasn't on there. I tried to write and compile it after class but it says not a statement.

Is this a real thing or just a trick question?
