Hi everyone,
I have been completely focused on learning programming these last couple of months. I started studying for a STEM degree and don't have a current job. Honestly, my college doesn't take much of my time. Considering that and the family financial support I have, I could keep my focus.
I would say I study about 5 hours worth of programming almost every day, skipping like one (at maximum two) days of the week. It's kind of exhausting, but I really love the subjects so I can dig myself into it for long stretches of time (plus I really want to get professional asap). I'm a self-taught person since I can remember. Is that a good amount of time? Is it expected from a beginner these days or above average? Or should I dedicated even more time if possible?
Thanks in advance.
