Best way to learn Data Science and Programming? (I have some ideas but would like some second opinions.)

Post Body

I'm a math major graduating this year and I only am in two classes this semester and one class next semester so I have a lot of time on my hands. I'm not sure yet which career I want so I figured I'd learn some data science and (more) coding to help me get a feel if those fields would be right for me. Note: I've had a handful of CS classes but dropped from Data Structures and Algorithms. So I know up to about linked lists.

For data science I already have a Codecademy subscription so I'm thinking of using that, as well as doing the online course HarvardX CS109x.

For programming, I'm thinking of reading my Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Principles in C book by Thomas Standish, and working on its exercises along with some Leetcode problems (I've solved a medium problem before so I have a little hope).

I welcome any suggestions :)
