I started Calc 1 this semester, and I did well in both Pre-Calculus as well as Trig. This is my first time taking Calc, and I made sure to solidify my understanding of trig/algebra before going into the class. However, I have scored in the 60s on every single test, and the only thing that is keeping my grade up near passing is my participation points/quiz grades. I know I'm not making stupid mistakes such as messing up basic arithmetic or writing down the wrong number. I think my issue is with the fundamentals of what we are studying. At first I thought that I just needed to practice harder, so I have invested 20 hours a week running through problems, and even more time has been spent going to my professor/TA's for help. Yet on the days that I take the exams, I completely bomb it. I'm not alone in this either as a majority of the class is currently failing, and the people I have spoken with have been putting in around the same work as me. The cumulative final is this upcoming Wednesday, and I was wondering if there were any resources/ study tips that could help me pull of a good grade for the final.
