Finding exact value of tan 165°

Using sum or difference identities
So I don't know how to exactly approach this question I know that I can use the values 45, 30, and 90 so that it equals 165 and I looked up what people did, but why is it that they either used 135 and 30 or 120 and 40 as the numbers?
