[High School(ish) Math] Issue with calculating the range of an arrow
Post Body

For a variety of reasons, I've been trying to calculate the range of a longbow and am stuck with the equation for range. The basic equation comes from this little discussion on the physics of archery, although the actual variables come from this armour test.

I'm not very good at maths and so, after a frustrating time with a calculator, I put together a basic spreadsheet so I could more easily figure out my mistakes.

Unfortunately, while I managed to get the initial velocity right, I can't seem to match the range calculated in either of the two examples I'm working from, falling some 50 metres short.

Can anyone point out where I've gone wrong?
