Has anyone else experienced this or know someone that does experience this? I’m not like a genius or anything but I’ve always been kinda fascinated by the way math works and numbers so I’d usually be around the top of my class before high school(I didn’t do anything in hs)so I’ve always enjoyed math class and even doing math homework, but since I was around 5-6 years old when I first started learning math my brain would just do random equations without me thinking about it, like for example I’m watching a tv show and then my brain randomly says hey let’s see how many times 8 goes into 50, I usually catch myself doing this when watching something or when someone’s talking to me, and i do it so fast too like it’s faster than when I try to think and do an equation.

I guess it’s my subconscious doing math or something but the equations always have nothing to do with what’s going on at the moment so I have no clue why this happens to me

I know y’all probably think I’m skitzo but has anyone else experienced this? Ty

tl/dr: when I’m engaged in conversation or watching a show/movie My brain does math equations without me even thinking about them and at very fast pace
