I was ahead in a lot in school and did honors for every main subject, but still my english capabilities are higher than my math skills, and I’d like to improve that. I find my foundations lacking, and that I’ve forgotten how to do a lot. (My reading ACT score was 33, while math was 24…)
I’m going to college in the fall, and I want to pursue computer science or even physics, which is extremely math based. I do enjoy math, it’s a good challenge but I can get frustrated at times when I struggle to grasp concepts.
This summer (starting now) I’d like to improve my math skills, memorize foundations, and re-learn math hacks. I think with that foundation I could see if I could be great at more complex math.. (If I wanna even consider physics, I need to be good at math!)
I need any advice I can get now that I am out of school, how can I teach myself math again? How do I improve? Practice? Daily math? The furthest I’ve gone so far in school was pre-calc. If you can give me any specific advice or tips, please share! :D
