This is a question I got today. I got told to think over it- I did.
y= x2 - 24
The answer I got was given was
/- (square root) 24. I don't know how it works.
I know the process- find the factors of 24 that add to zero (root 24 and neg root 24) and also multiply to 24- but WHY does it equal the square root of 24?
