Is there an API or library for Python where if you input longitude and latitude, it returns the city name?

If it helps, looking to narrow down to Europe
I also have postal code data, but different countries have different formats, so I feel that there may be complications.
Plus, cities are defined in polygon, so I'm not sure how it would be doable geometrically.
