Building a GUI for a small java based Desktop App?
Post Body

I'm making a small Desktop app in java. I'm confused about whether i should use Javfx or Swing or something else for the GUI. I have made a few ~1000 line gui programs in Swing and i understand Event Handling.

I'm told that Swing is on it's last legs and will be superseded by javaFx. I've also been told that nobody really uses javafx for real work these days.

So,i'm wondering what would be the ideal way of making a java based GUI in 2021?

EDIT- Thanks to everyone for the answers
