Just started learning french, which is better for a bigginner? Would've went for pimsleur due to price but rocket is 60% off right now.
Tried a few lessons during the free week trial. Like each of them for different reasons.
I like rocket that it has a transcript so you can read(tho speaking is my main priority) and the mock conversations, also some Grammer lessons
I like pimsleur because it has more repetition
Now I get that one app alone won't teach me to anything above b1. Best would be immersion ( reading, talking and watching movies) but need a decent vocabulary first and want to get to consuming content asap
I'll prob add ankii, Paul noble audiobooks and some Grammer books from my library till then. Also live in canada and heard good things about mauril. Maybe even try classes/tutors
Thanks,
