I have six months (2-4 hours a day) to learn as much French as I can... what would you do?

I'm not expecting fluency, but I need to learn as much French as I can in the next six months. I'm struggling to learn French on my own and could appreciate any guidance!

Unfortunately, I'm on a pretty strict budget so hiring a personal teacher to learn from on a daily basis is unrealistic. I'm looking into one weekly lesson with a tutor/teacher that specializes in beginner's on Italki. Outside of that, there's so many resources I don't even know where to begin.

I have some vocabulary and verb knowledge and know the basic tenses (le present, le passe compose, le futur proche, futur simple - and by "know" I understand the concepts and can read/recognize the words and why they are there, but I still struggle to speak them). I like to read basic/intermediate French stories everyday, and I watch French content every day for 30min to 1 hour. The problem is I struggle so hard to connect what I'm learning to speaking. And my listening comprehension is horrendous. I feel like how I have been learning on my own has been useless and I haven't learned anything. What methods did you utilize in your early French studies?

I'm looking to spend minimum 2 hours weekdays, and 4 hours on the weekends, dedicated to French studies.

Any guidance? Thank you!
