I'm a very low level player who has played LoL for 2 years and want to switch to Dota. I love to play support and am still learning warding etc, however, at my low level i've found some people have absolutely zero concept of playing a carry or playing in general. I just played a game as Windrunner and played somewhat decent (0/3/9) however, in my team was a Gyro who barely farmed, bought wards all throughout the game and had only a Ghostblade 30 mins in, our bloodseeker was 14/14 with no blademail and terrible items, our Dark Seer bought no soul ring, never splitpushed and bought a Sange and Yasha. Our Doom was the only decent player but couldn't carry.I know im kinda ranting because these games are difficult as a support to play when i feel like my ability to carry is so limited. I get vision control etc goes a long way but when im dealing with people who just have no sense of how to play, it doesn't really matter how good my vision is (i watched them literally run into 4 people 1 by 1) Who are some supports who have skills which can just carry games? I've found reasonable success on Shadow Shaman and Lich but i was wondering who else i can pick in a position 4-5 spot and still carry games?
