Is there a way to install MySQL to a different drive?

There's no option in the installer to tell it to install to "D:\Program Files\MySQL\". I've seen guides that say to look for my.ini but its nowhere to be found. I'd imagine its stupid simple but for what ever reason it's being a PITA.
The reason for this is my OS drive is 64GB where as "D" and "E" drive are ~2TB each.
